In 2024, 37% of Antwerp families did not have a car of their own. Car ownership among Antwerp families has declined in recent years. The decline in privately owned cars has been partly offset by an increase in the number of company cars. Electric bikes have continued to grow in popularity, as have cargo bikes and speed pedelecs.
