In an effort to provide room for all cyclists in the city, the City of Antwerp has invested heavily in the new and connecting cycle paths in the city centre, around the ring road and along approach roads. In 2018, there were 14 bike registration posts; from 2023, there will be 26. The number of cyclists increased most in the city centre.
